Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar tweeted a four year old incident of a cop breaking an old man's typewriter as recent.

Taking a cue from twitter replies to Akhtar pointing out that the images were from a 2015 incident, we searched with the keywords - 'old man', 'typewriter' and 'broken' and found that it was from September 2015.
One can spot the same set of images from the above September 20, 2015, NDTV article on the incident.
According to news reports, in Uttar Pradesh a sub-inspector named Pradeep Kumar, had broken the typewriter of an elderly man named Krishna Kumar by kicking it at Lucknow’s Hazratganj allegedly to remove encroachment from the area.
After photographs clicked by a photojournalist while passing through the area of the incident went viral on the social media, the sub inspector Kumar was suspended.
On the instructions of then Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) visited Krishna Kumar and handed him a new typewriter.
