All You Need To Know About The Apple Event: Explained In 90 Seconds

Apple Watch. iPad Pro. Apple TV. And finally, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. Take a look at everything you need to know about the massive Apple Event in San Francisco.

 

Apple kicked off its event by announcing new apps, straps and models of the Apple Watch. Watch OS2 will bring third-party complications, native apps running on the watch, activation lock, and FaceTime audio among many other features.

 

Apple next unveiled the iPad Pro that has a retina display of 12.9 inch and 5.6 million pixels. It has a has a four speaker sound system, 10-hour battery life and an 8 MP camera. It boasts speeds that are 80 percent faster than more portable PCs and supports Microsoft Office and its own version of Adobe PhotoShop.

 

The iPad Pro comes with two new accessories – the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard. The Pencil is a pressure-sensitive stylus and the Smart Keyboard is a physical, fabric keyboard that also serves as a cover and a stand.

 

Apple also announced a new version of the Apple TV, which comes with a new remote that includes a small touchpad, as well as a microphone for Siri voice control. It will have its own operating system called tvOS.

 

The iPhone got a refresh with the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The best new feature? 3D Touch, which recognizes the force you use to create new touch gestures. The camera is bumped up to 12 megapixels, and can shoot 4K video. The iPhones will come in silver, gold, space grey, and a new fourth colour: rose gold.
