The game between Manchester United and Bournemouth was called off after a 'explosive-like item' was discovered close to kick-off time. But, it turned out to be a dummy bomb used in a security exercise a few days before the game.
Manchester United management has announced a refund for all tickets and ticket holders from both clubs will be allowed to watch the re-arranged game for free, while Manchester United season ticket holders will also be given a credit. This gesture is estimated to cost United around £3million.
