Australia Reports First COVID-19 Death In A Month
A man in his 80s died due to COVID-19 in Australia, the country's first COVID-19 death in more than a month. The Victoria State Department of Health and Human Services said that the man died overnight in a hospital.
20 new people tested positive for COVID-19, the eighth straight day of double-digit case growth in Victoria which has led authorities to tighten restrictions in the state reducing the number of visitors people can have in their home to five. Outside of the home, people can now gather in groups of up to 10 only.
