India Adds Record 83,883 New COVID-19 Cases

India has reported 83,883 new COVID-19 cases, a record one-day rise, as the total case count rose to 38,53,406. The active caseload has risen to 8,15,338 while 29,70,492 people have been cured or discharged so far. The death toll has risen to 67,376 after 1,043 patients died due to the disease.
