India Considering A Nasal COVID-19 Vaccine

A nasal COVID-19 vaccine produced by Bharat Biotech has been identified by the Indian Council of Medical Research, NITI Aayog, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as a potential vaccine candidate for India, announced Dr. V.K.Paul, member NITI Aayog. The vaccine manufacturer has approached the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation for approval to begin Phase I/II trials in the country. 

Nasal vaccines have been used to tackle rotavirus before.
