India Records Highest One-day Spike In New COVID-19 Cases

India recorded the highest one-day spike in new COVID-19 cases after 9,887 people tested positive for the disease in the last 24 hours. The total case count has risen to 2,36,657. 294 patients succumbed to the disease, another one-day record, to take the death toll to 6,642.
