India Records Highest One-day Spike In Positive Cases

According to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India added a record 9,851 positive cases to take the total COVID-19 case count to 2,26,770. 273 patients succumbed to the disease as the death toll rose to 6,348. India ranks third behind the USA and Brazil in daily rise in COVID-19 cases.
