Karnataka Blames Inter-State Travel For Sudden Spurt In Cases

Officials in the southern state of Karnataka blame inter-state travel on the sudden spurt of cases in the state. The state that was lauded for its control of the virus has now reported nearly 60,000 cases of the virus. 

According to the officials, inter-state travel with Maharastra is the reason for the surge in cases. Since June 1, the state has reported 56,244 new cases which forms 95% of the total case load.
