Russia To Roll Out Anti-viral Avifavir As COVID-19 Cure

Russia will start administering the anti-viral Avifavir to treat COVID-19 patients from next week, reports Reuters. Avifavir is also being trialled in Japan where it is called Avigan. According to the report, clinical trials involved 330 people and showed Avifavir successfully treated the virus in most cases within four days.
