Biocarbon engineering explains drones would first fly above selected area, map its level of deforestation and report back its potential for reforestation. Automated drones carrying seed pods would fly up to two meters above the ground, following a pre-determined planting pattern. Small pressurized canister would provide the propulsive force for the seed pods to easily penetrate soil surface. Estimates suggest that a drone plants 10 seeds per minute.
