A month after the Jats in Haryana protested violently demanding inclusion in the Backward Castes category so as to be eligible for reservation for public sector jobs and in education institutions, the Haryana state government's cabinet has approved a reservation bill proposing a 10 per cent quota for Jats and four other castes.
