Social media is rife with claims alleging that a poll worker tossed more than 100 ballots cast for President Donald Trump in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Elections officials in the county have now debunked this claim.
Old Antifa Flyer Goes Viral With Misleading Claims
A blog post is being widely shared to claim that an “Antifa flyer” shows left-wing activists planning to masquerade as supporters of President Donald Trump and riot following the election. Fact checkers at FactCheck.org found these claims to be false - the purported flyer cited as evidence for these claims has been around since 2017.
This morning, CNN projected the victory of Republican business woman Marjorie Taylor Greene on her race to represent the north-west Georgia seat in the House. Taylor's win comes despite criticism of her promotion of a conspiracy theory called the QAnon which claims that the world is overrun by a cabal of child trafficking 'paedophiles', with Donald Trump being the last line of defence against them.
