10 Pakistani Cricketers Test Positive For COVID-19
Seven Pakistani cricketers and one player support personnel have tested positive for COVID-19, Pakistan Cricket Board announced today, a day after three players, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan, tested positive. Fakhar Zaman, Imran Khan, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Rizwan and Wahab Riaz are the players who tested positive on Tuesday. Pakistan are scheduled to travel to England to play three Tests and three T20Is from July 30 to September 2.
Men's Tennis World No 1 Novak Djokovic Tests Positive For COVID-19
World No 1 Novak Djokovic and wife Jelena have tested positive for COVID-19, the player announced in a statement. The Serb had organised an exhibition tennis tournament in Serbia and Croatia. Djokovic is the fourth tennis player to test positive for COVID-19 after Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric and Viktor Troicki, all of whom had taken part in the exhibition tournament.
"Everything we did in the past month, we did with a pure heart and sincere intentions. Our tournament meant to unite and share a message of solidarity and compassion throughout the region," Djokovic said in a statement.

COVID-19 Death Toll Cross 14k In India
According to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India reported 14,933 new COVID-19 cases as the total case count rose to 4,40,215. The number of active cases is 1,78,014 while 2,48,189 patients have been discharged so far. 312 people died due to the disease as the death toll rose to 14,011.
Supreme Court Allows Puri Rath Yatra To Be Held
The Supreme Court on Monday said that it will allow Puri’s Rath Yatra to be held, reports PTI. A Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice S A Bobde asked the Odisha state government, Union Government and the temple trust to ensure the ritual is held in a safe manner in the middle of the pandemic.
Delhi High Court Extends Bail Of Undertrial Prisoners To Decongest Jails Amid Pandemic
The Delhi High Court on Monday announced that the interim bail granted to 2,961 undertrial prisoners will be extended by 45 days to de-congest jails amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Delhi is the third-worst hit state in India and has reported 59,746 cases and 2,175 deaths.

BMC Launches 'Mission Zero' Campaign To Reduce COVID-19 Cases
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Monday launched the 'Mission Zero' campaign in Borivali, Dahisar, Malad, Kandivali, Bhandup and Mulund to reduce the number of COVID-19 cases. The campaign has been launched to reduce the number of cases in the areas where the doubling rate is lower than average. 50 mobile dispensaries have been commissioned to conduct preliminary checkups in these areas and identify COVID-19 patients. The campaign was launched by BMC chief Iqbal Chahal in Andheri.
COVID-19 Patients In Home Isolation To Be Provided Pulse Oximeter: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal
Delhi Chief Minister on Monday said that all COVID-19 positive patients undergoing home isolation will be provided with a pulse oximeter to measure their oxygen levels. If a patient's oxygen levels drop, they can contact the health authorities who will provide the patient with an oxygen concentrator. If needed, the patient will be shifted to a hospital for treatment.

Lockdown To Be Implemented In Clusters In Bengaluru: CM B.S. Yediyurappa
After a meeting with ministers and officials, Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa on Monday said that a strict lockdown will be implemented in clusters which have reported a spike in COVID-19 cases, the Chief Minister's Office said today. The COVID-19 war room will have real-time information on availability of beds in various COVID-19 hospitals.
Yediyurappa also directed officers to fix treatment rates for COVID-19 patients in private hospitals. Fever clinics will also be set up in each ward.
Delhi High Court Stays Proceedings Against Sir Ganga Ram Hospital
The Delhi High Court has stayed investigation against Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for alleged violations of COVID-19 norms reports PTI. An FIR was filed against the hospital on June 5 by an official of the Delhi Health Ministry alleging that the hospital was using the RT-PCR app while collecting COVID-19 samples as per COVID-19 guidelines.
