India Successfully Launches Experimental Indigenous Winged Reusable Launch Vehicle

India successfully launches experimental indigenous winged reusable launch vehicle from Sriharikota Spaceport, Andhra Pradesh. RLV successfully landed in the Bay Of Bengal, 450 km from its launch site and 13 minutes after its launch. RLV technology demonstration aims to ultimately put satellites into orbit around earth and then re-enter atmosphere. The 9 metre long rocket was carried up on a solid rocket motor which weighed 11 tonnes.
