A video of an alleged molester being beaten in Meerut is doing the rounds on social media with false claims that it shows footage of Mohammed Qari Owais being thrashed in Old Delhi Railway Station. The same video is viral with another narrative which states that a young Muslim Hafiz Quran was beaten by RSS goons for not saying Jai Shri Ram. A video of a distraught Kashmiri woman narrating her ordeal to former Congress party president Rahul Gandhi on board a Srinagar-Delhi flight is being shared with a caption, ‘Kashmir people in flight to Rahul: Modi is doing good for us. Why do you want to visit Kashmir and trouble us. Please go back.!' But the claim is false. If one hears the video, it becomes clear that the woman is recounting the incidents related to the clampdown in effect in Kashmir post abrogation of Article 370. The story was picked up by many media houses, including Times Now.
