Prime Minister Narendra Modi will land in London for a three-day visit to the UK , starting November 12.

British Prime Minister David Cameron has decided to host Modi without reservations - Modi will be greeted by spectacular shows and displays upon his arrival.

Business deals regarding civil energy will discussed in Buckinghamshire, although focus will also be on aspects such as high technology, skill and finance. These are supposed to be in the wake of the nuclear cooperation deal signed between Indian and the United Kingdom in 2010, although nothing on the scale of the UK's billion pound nuclear agreement with China. Most deals are expected to help boost commercial and private sectors.

On Friday, Modi will return to London for a CEO-roundtable where major companies like Vodafone and Rolls-Royce are expected. Modi will also address a huge crowd of the UK's Indian community in the Wembley Stadium Around 1.4 million people of Indian-origin currently reside in England and Wales.

Modi will join Queen Elizabeth in a luncheon, a rare honour for any head of state.

But his visit to the UK is dogged by controversy. On November 8th, a negative projection of Modi appeared on the Houses of Parliament. Protesters are preparing to line Downing Street and more than 200 writers have urged PM Cameron to bring up the issue of freedom of expression in India with Modi.
