Mayank Shekhar and Fahad Samar review Sonali Cable, Kill the Messenger and Sex Tape. Watch the movie review and let us know what you think of these movies.

Sonali Cable

Sonali Cable, directed by Charudutt Acharya, is a film about a small cable company that provides broadband internet connection to a locality in Bombay. Their company runs very efficiently and the customers can put a face to their service provider. A major internet conglomerate comes in to takeover broadband connections all over Bombay. They intend to wipe out all small time players. Sonali Cable, run by a girl called Sonali and played by Rhea Chakraborty, fights the big fish tooth and nail. The big company employs all kinds of tactics to eat up the small-scale cable companies. This film is a statement against monopolistic, large-scale enterprises. It is produced by Rohan Sippy and also stars Anupam Kher and Ali Fazal.

Kill the Messenger

Two-time Academy nominee, Jeremy Renner, leads an all-star cast in a dramatic thriller based on the remarkable true story of Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, Gary Webb. Webb stumbles on to a story which leads to the shady origins of the men who started the crack epidemic on the streets of the United States of America. It further alleges that the CIA was aware of major dealers who were smuggling cocaine into the US, and using the profits to arm rebels fighting in Nicaragua. Despite warnings from drug kingpins and CIA operatives to stop his investigation, Web keeps digging to uncover a conspiracy with explosive implications. His journey takes him from the prisons of California, to the villages of Nicaragua, to the highest corridors of power in Washington DC.

Sex Tape

Jay, played by Jason Segel, and Annie, essayed by Cameron Diaz, are a married couple still very much in love. But ten years and two kids have cooled the passion somewhat. To reignite it, they decide to make a video of themselves trying out different sex positions in a marathon three-hour session. It seems like a great idea, until they discover that their most private video has gone public. In a panic, they begin a wild night of adventure - cracking down leads, roping in friends, duping Annie’s boss - all to reclaim their video, their reputation, their sanity, and most importantly, their marriage.
