By - BOOM FACT Check Team | 28 March 2020 11:00 PM IST

"Not much evidence available in terms of the drugs that should be used for the treatment of COVID-19. But we are working according to the experience of the other countries that have faced this pandemic and also the ICMR advisories," says Dr. Suranjit Chatterjee, head of Internal Medicine, Apollo Hospital.

He also said,

* Government advisories are very regular.

* The next two weeks of the lockdown are critical and will give a hint as to if it was successful or not.

* Won't be able to overcome the disease but aiming at flattening the curve.

Dr. Suranjit Chatterjee also debunked a few social media claims around COVID-19 on the show. Watch to know if drinking hot garlic water can treat Coronavirus.
