Open Defecation In India: Still A Common Feature

More than half the rural population in India still opts for open defecation, says NSSO's Swachhta Status Report. The report only confirms what most of India knows and sees everyday in the mornings - in fields, near roads and on railway tracks. We ask Mumbaikars why open defecation continues to be a feature of our daily lives and suggestions to change it.
