An old video from 2018 showing a military encounter in Kashmir is viral on social media as the Indian Army retaliating after the recent terror incident in Pulwama which left atleast 40 paramilitary personnel dead.
The 1 minute 30 seconds video is viral on Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and YouTube under the caption, "Mission started. Already killed 3 pigs"

FACT-CHECK
BOOM broke the video into keyframes and ran a reverse image search for some of the key frames and found that the video is from December 2018. The reverse image search showed a photo matching a key frame from the video had been tweeted in December, by Kashmir News a local news outlet in the valley.

The tweet posted on December 9, 2018 says that the forces were engaged in an 18 hour long gunfight in Bandipore district of the state. The tweet further says, the two of the deceased militants had been identified as Mudassir Parray and Saquib Mushtaq.
BOOM ran a further search with the names of the two dead militants and found the same viral video uploaded on Facebook by JK News live, a local news outlet. The video was uploaded by the channel on December 13, 2018.

According to an article in Times of India the incident happened in Mujgund a remote district in Kashmir where the armed forces killed three people suspected to be LeT militants after an 18-hour long encounter. The encounter also left a few personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force injured.
