RioOlympics 2016: Archery Explained

A fascinating test of nerve and accuracy, archery made its Olympic debut at Paris 1900, with women joining in four years later.

The archery events at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro will be held over a seven-day period from 6 to 12 August. Four events will take place, all being staged at the Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí. At Rio 2016, both genders will compete in individual and team events.
