A policeman got carted around for over a kilometer when the speeding car he tried to flag down did not stop and hit him instead.

CCTV footage has been released showing a Chinese traffic police officer, Pan Wenquan, on the bonnet of a moving car. Police tried to stop the vehicle at around 3 p.m. local time on August 10, but the driver failed to comply. Wenquan was then struck by the car and carried for nearly 1 km on the bonnet. The driver later ran away after stopping the car and abandoned drugs in the vehicle which were found by the police.
