Video shot from a car on the Eisenhower Expressway captured a wall of sparks as a metal canopy crashed onto tracks used by a Chicago Transit Authority train during a fierce storm.

The sparking came as a metal canopy of a pedestrian walkway blew onto the electrified line. Firefighters had to shut off power to the train before evacuating it. No injuries were reported.
