Unique Wedding Idea: Kolhapur Couple Gets Married While Suspended From Ropeway

Zehdir and Reshma of Kolhapur Maharashtra, both trekking enthusiasts, met each other on a trek and fell in love. The groom wanted to pay tribute to their love of adventure sports and make the day 'memorable' in more ways than one.

In a literal take of 'love is in the air', the couple got married to each other hanging from a ropeway at an altitude of 90 meters, dressed in traditional attire. They exchanged garlands as the priest chanted mantras and was harnessed along with them. Friends and family witnessed the wedding ceremony from the ground below.
