A viral video was circulating on social media purportedly shows a speaker hurling profanities at Klaus Schwab, Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), during the 2024 Davos summit. BOOM found that the video is doctored and was created as satire by a content creator named Damon Imani based in Denmark. The video features edited visuals of Schwab from the 54th Annual Meeting of the WEF at Davos, but the actual incident depicted in the video did not occur. Imani clarified that the video was not real and was intended as satire. The original footage of Schwab exiting the stage was from a live stream of the WEF event on January 16, 2024.
