Mike Pence

Mike Pence is an American politician who served as the 48th Vice President of the United States from 2017 to 2021, under President Donald Trump. Born on June 7, 1959, in Columbus, Indiana, Pence began his political career as a Republican representative for Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District in 2001. He later became the Governor of Indiana in 2013, where he implemented conservative policies, including tax reforms, increased funding for education, and the controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Pence’s tenure as Vice President was marked by his strong support for Trump’s agenda, conservative social values, and key roles in domestic and foreign policy decisions. He was also the head of the White House Coronavirus Task Force during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was pivotal to the Trump administration’s response to the crisis.
