Security arrangements across Kashmir have been beefed up after the Valley witnessed a spate of civilian killings this month.
As many as 11 civilians were killed in several incidents of targetted killings. The slain civilians include teachers, top businessman and non-local labourers.
Amid high security, the frisking of locals too has increased.
Visuals of men, women and children being frisked surfaced on Wednesday. People were seen getting down from public transport and showing their ID proofs to the security personnel.
