In Pictures: 67th National Film Awards

Vice President M.Venkaiah Naidu honored some of the biggest names from the film fraternity in the 67th National Film Awards. The Award ceremony took place on Monday, October 25.
The Best Actress Award was won by Kangana Ranaut for her performances in Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi and Panga. The actress, dressed in a traditional saree, walked up to the stage and received her award. This is her fourth National Award. She previously won Best Supporting Actress for her role in Fashion and Best Actress Awards for Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
Legendary Superstar Rajnikanth was awarded the 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's hit film Chhichhore was awarded as the Best Hindi Feature Film. Producer Sajid Nadiawala received the Award. The Best Feature Film was awarded to Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea (Malayalam)
The Best Actor Award went to Manoj Bajpayee for Bhonsle and Dhanush for Asuran. The Movie Asuran also bagged the best film in the Tamil category. The Best Supporting Actor Award was won by Vijay Sethupathi for Super Deluxe (Tamil).
The Award for Best Child Artist was given to Naga Vishal for KD (Tamil). The Best Supporting Actress was awarded to Pallavi Joshi for The Tashkent Files (Hindi). The Taskent Files also won the Best Screenplay (Dialogues).
Bollywood Actress Kangana in the photo poses with the Best Actress Award. The 67th National Film Awards were announced in March this year. They honor the best in cinema in 2019, and were supposed to take place last year, but were postponed due to the pandemic. The jury chose among 461 films in the feature category and 220 films in the shorts category.
