Asia Cup: Stage Set For Old Cricket Rivals As India, Pakistan Prepare For Match in Dubai

India and Pakistan will face each other in Group A clash for the Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai today.

While team India is being led by Rohit Sharma as the captain, Babar Azam will lead the Pakistan team for the match in Dubai International Stadium today evening.

Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi won't be playing in Asia Cup due to an injury. This is being seen as a disadvantage for the team. "Shaheen is one of our best bowlers, he bowls with aggression and he leads the attack, so we will miss him. If Shaheen was there, it would have been a different game," captain Babar Azam said in a press conference.

While India's Jasprit Singh Burah is out of the series, all eyes are on Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin to lead the bowling attack for Indian side.
