India Reports Nearly 40% Rise In Covid Cases In A Day

With a close to 40% rise, India recorded 9,629 fresh Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, as compared to 6,660 cases reported on Tuesday.

The fatalities recorded for the day was 29.

The daily positivity rate has been recorded at 5.38 per cent and the weekly positivity rate at 5.61 per cent.

The active caseload of the country stood at 62,293.
