NASA Shares Images Of Star Clusters Captured By Hubble Telescope

US space agency NASA shared multiple images this week of open star clusters captured by its Hubble Telescope.
NASA described open star clusters as "a type of star cluster with loose gravitational attraction between the stars, which causes the cluster to be more spread out and unusually shaped" on an Instagram post.
On Tuesday NASA shared an image of a star cluster, NGC 2002, that is 160,000 light-years away from Earth. It said that this particular cluster has over 1,100 stars.
On December 2, the space agency shared an image of another star cluster, NGC 1858, that is estimated to be 10 million years old. " NGC 1858 is also an emission nebula, which is a cloud of interstellar gas that has been ionized by ultraviolet wavelengths radiating off of nearby stars," NASA said.
Another open cluster, BSDL 2757, was captured by the telescope, photos of which NASA shared on December 1. NASA said, " Hubble captured the scene as part of a study looking at how dust in the Large Magellanic Cloud obscures ultraviolet light in four different star-forming regions of this nearby, irregular galaxy.
