Netflix Password Sharing Crackdown Reaches India
Netflix has announced that the crackdown on password sharing will now be extended to all markets worldwide, including Kenya, Indonesia and India.
This means that Netflix accounts will be used exclusively within a single household.
Users must set up a Netflix household, which is basically the device that is used the most to watch Netflix. The devices that use the same internet connection as that device will automatically be a part of the users' Netflix household.
In May, the streaming giant had imposed the same restrictions in more than 100 countries including the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Mexico, and Brazil.
