Bulldozer At 'BJP Leader's' Noida Apartment Days After Video Of Him Abusing Woman Goes Viral
Bulldozer rolled out in Noida society and demolished a part of politician Shrikant Tyagi's apartment on Monday morning, days after a video of him abusing a woman went viral on social media last week.
In the video, Tyagi was seen using abusive language and threatening the woman who had allegedly objected to him planting trees in the park.
Tyagi claims to be a member of the BJP's Kisan Morcha. Pictures of him with senior BJP leaders like JP Nadda and Swatantra Dev Singh surfaced on social media. However, the BJP distanced itself from the controversy and said Tyagi was not associated with the party.
On Sunday, Tyagi's supporters reached the residential society and created a ruckus, asking for the woman's address who was abused and pushed by Tyagi.
Residents protested against Tyagi's supporters for creating a ruckus. Later, Noida District Magistrate Suhas LY and Noida Police chief Alok Kumar Singh reached the spot and spoke to the residents. The District Magistrate had said that Tyagi's property would be attached by the Noida administration.
