A video of a Muslim cleric speaking about Kashmir is viral on social media with captions misidentifying him as the present crown prince of United Arab Emirates. The man in the viral video can be heard clarifying his position about Kashmir. In the video, the cleric states that he believes Kashmir is a 'Hindu land'. The video has been captioned on Facebook as, "Our stand on Kashmir is acknowledged by His highness - the Crown Prince of UAE ..!! Kashmir is Hindu Land ." See post here and archive here.

BOOM had debunked the video when it was viral in 2019 with captions misidentifying the speaker as Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. We found that the speaker is Imam Mohamad Tawhidi, a Shia Muslim cleric. Tawhidi, popularly known as the 'Imam of Peace' is an Australia based cleric, known for speaking against radical Islamic ideology. Iranian-born and educated in Iraq, he claims to be at the forefront of moderate Islam and the Islamic reform movement. Tawhidi had also called out the viral video clarifying that he is not a Saudi prince. The video was viral after he visited India in early February, 2019 for a cultural festival in Delhi.
