A burqa-clad man in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh tried to cast his cast his vote on April 11. He disguised himself as his wife and donned a burqa and tried to vote but was caught at the polling booth by other voters.
Fact
A reverse image search showed that the photos are from 2015. Some online reports claimed that the images are of an RSS worker, who wore a burqa and tried to throw beef in temples in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. BOOM could not independently verify the identity of the man or whether he was a member of the RSS.
The images are likely from 2015 when a man was caught attempting to throw beef in a temple premises.
