The country continues to vote in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections but many people have been complaining about their names missing from the voters' list. Several social media users pointed out that they found out only after reaching the polling booth.

We tell you 5 simple steps for checking your name in the official electoral roll well in advance.

  • Go to the Voters' Service Portal on the election commission's website.
  • Click on 'Search in electoral roll'.
  • You can search your name by using the EPIC number or by filling in your personal details or by using your mobile number.
  • Same information is also available on the Election Commission's Voter Helpline app.
  • You can register yourself by going to the election commission's website and filling in the form that is applicable to you.
